About ME!

Hello and welcome to my cloud!

My name is Judy… and as I’m sure you have already put it together… yup, this is my blog.

If you look to your left you will see a picture of me and my kitty cats. Alex is on my lap and Nikita is standing looking regal as always. Nikita is 17 going on human 35. She is smart, has a good sense of humor, she likes to listen to relaxation CDs at night... she literally turns on the CD player and then lays down... she also enjoys watching how to build and fix things. Alex is 14 going on human 2. He pretty much does what two-year-olds do... I'm hungry, I want whatever it is you have, I want to play and sit on your lap NOW or I'm JUST GOING TO DIE!

I’m currently a Community Health Education and Philosophy major at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I very much enjoy the experiences I've had being a student at UMD. The last few years have been a great, as well as productive, change from "work" life. I do not have a defined picture of what my next step will be after college. I want to create bridges between western and holistic medicine. Sustainability and our food quality have also become passions of mine. I currently facilitate a food sensitivity group here in Duluth that explores many topics around food and food sensitivities.  I'm excited to see where this great journey that I'm on will take me.

I’m taking an environmental health class that has put me to the task of creating and writing this blog. It is good to have an outlet to share thoughts on assignments and projects we are doing with our classmates and the world.

Writing is something I truly enjoy. A great way to share, to relax or mind dump;  self exploration and therapeutic. It is also fantastic to hear what other people think in response to my thoughts.  I appreciate having a structured writing requirement, especially in the Environmental Health class. The topics are very much of interest to me and have been for years. It is fun and mind-expanding to dive into these topics in greater depth. Along with more and new people to bounce thoughts off of.

Thank you for and I hope you enjoy your time on my mind cloud.

Cheers!
Judy
