OBJECTIVE:   EH-4  Increase the proportion of persons served by community water systems who receive a supply of drinking water that meets the regulations of the Safe Drinking Water Act
BASELINE:  89 percent of persons served by community water systems received a supply of drinking water that meets the regulations of the Safe Drinking Water Act in 2005
TARGET:   91 percent

  1. I would love to see this bill passed! After touring WLSSD and becoming more aware of aware of water pollution, I feel this bill is important for our environment.

  2. Agreed with Emily. The WLSSD was a gross place and the fact that it was sooo close to Lake Superior just disgusted me. I wonder though--what would be the solution for this problem?

  3. This would be a great bill to have passed. Although I live in Canada, I am only 3.5 hours away from Duluth and we use Lake Superior water, so this is something that has an impact on me back home. We really need to realize how precious our water is!
